Stan VanDerBeek Exhibition

I found the most interesting part of the Stan VanDerBeek exhibition to be an arrangement of eight slide projectors, at least three digital video projectors, and various other equipment (including an overhead transparency projector). The movies and slide shows played out simultaneously, projected onto essentially the same surface, and with some overlap. Chaotic as this might seem, the overall effect works somehow. I could imagine this approach as something to try upon returning from a vacation - imagine how impressed your friends would be if instead of just showing a few pictures, you could synchronize eight slide shows and three movies of your vacation!
